This is part two in the series “How to make more money with Affiliate Sledgehammer” I will begin by directing you to the “Campaigns” tab at the top of the web-site. On that page you will see a variety of selection tools to examine, filter, and drill down into various affiliate products that you may be interested in.

NOTE: At this time, during the Beta Development, the drill down features are not all there – in fact pretty much just the hierarchy directory structure is guaranteed to be there at any time as new and faster searching services are being utilized. Please bear with us as we integrate these new services!

Creating Your Campaign (Continued):

Lets take a look at the example Product mentioned in the part 1. Below is a picture of what you will see if you click on the link here.

I have pointed a few things out for you to notice about this page:

Looking at just the top portion of the page…

Thumbnail and General Information

Fig. 1: Thumbnail and General Information

The green arrow marked “1″ shows the thumbnail, which is a miniature picture of the first page of the sales page. It is click-able (go to the actual example page to see this) and will bring up the actual sales page in a pop-over window. As merchants/product owners update their sites, the page may not be exactly reflected in the thumbnail, it is more for you use as a “memory device” as you are looking a multiple product listings.

The General information section (green arrow “2″), gives the title, description and category/sub-category listings of the product as well as the affiliate network the product is listed under.

Next we will look at the product data selection tabs…

Selecting Product Data

Fig. 2: Selecting Product Data

We will come back to each of these tabs later, but essentially, as the tabs state, you can select different information views of a product from the tabs (arrow “3″).

  • Product Data: The statistics and analysis of a product in a simple, easy to understand view that gives you everything you need right up front.
  • Sales Page Text: The raw test from the Sales Page with full Keyword Analysis.
  • Sales Page Links: A Comprehensive list of all links AND Email Addresses within the sales pages and other information that the merchant has available.
  • Sales Page Media: Three galleries of all Images, Audios, and Videos contained within the Sales Page and promotional material for the product.
  • Articles Data: Links to the most popular (and highest page ranked) articles about the product PLUS Full Keyword Analysis!

Looking further down the first page, we come to the statistics and analysis data of the product. The data here pertains to many things such as price, refund rates, commission rate (always important!), and various popularity measures.

This particular product is from ClickBank, and shows specific information that only ClickBank offers (ex: “Gravity”). Had this been another Affiliate Network, then that network’s specific data items would have been shown.

Product Statistics and Analysis

Fig 3. Product Statistics and Analysis

The red arrows show the various click-able links or buttons that will reveal more information about that specific topic such as the masked and the real sales-page link, the Affiliate “spotlight” that shows such things as 30 day Gravity trends, and the price breakout at the bottom (showing tax information, price point description, etc). The price list at the bottom will show different price points for various bonus packages if the merchant has those available. In most cases, the price in the main list is the first price in the lower price list, but with the various bonus options there can be several price points.

The items circled in purple are the basic current statistics for the product – these are the important data you need to determine if a product/niche is what you desire to promote.

In the next article, we will go over the other tabs in the product presentation. Until then…

Keep on Pounding!
